now that we are back, we have to face the reality again

then the Cheng Ho ppl, esp the ppl on zhengjie's rowboat
kept calling us ah-ma-sen
lol then during the rowboat thingy, junjie kept shouting "AH MA SEN"

anyway it means grandma gives birth to jiankai in english

and in case u dunnoe, Amundsen was the first man to reach the South Pole. =)

just came out frm a refreshing bath... hmm when's the last time i bathed like this?
lol i love obs, so fun la! xD
lets recall what we did....

-1st day-
we waited for quite long at the jetty before the boat finally came and brought us to our campsite
and along the journey, i was mumbling to myself "omg la, obs.... shit... my nightmare"
lol at that time, i was quite relunctant to go actually... haha
and we were quiet on the 1st day cos we didnt noe each other well enough
hmm.... oh ya we did abselling in the afternoon
quite fun! and the fun thing is, i wasnt afraid at all la!
ok i was so calm while waiting for my turn
lol and i almost flew off when i was doing the belaying part
i forgot who's the girl who was falling at that time. i tink its hui ci bah?
not that she's heavy la. its becos i didnt have mental preparation, lol

-2nd day-
in the morning, we went to camp 1 and did rock climbing cum abselling
it was quite a failure for me, cos i couldnt climb high
whatever, i dunnoe how to do rock climbing de
hands too short liao, cannot reach the rocks no matter how hard i stretch
cannot blame me right? hands short mah. lol
we waited for the rain to stop before setting off for our row-boat journey
oh ya before that, we had to test for our life vest and omg la.
u noe im scared of water rite? then when the instructor asked us to float freely
i was like "OMG" and i couldnt float!
cos once my face touched the water, i will just stand up
lol and in the end, the instructor held my life vest and sort of forced me to float
ok damn paiseh, cos everyone was on the shore at that time
i was the only one left in the water, still testing for the life vest -.-"
and so we started to row our boat....
i sat in front to steer the wheel cos when i went up the boat, there was no more space for me
during the beginning, i was very scared
although i was wearing the life vest but i was still thinking abt what will happen if the boat capsized. lol
and we were suppose to head for an (i-forgot-the-name) island but in the end we changed the destination cos we started late due to the rain
and the island was like SO NICE la. no toilet. got a lot of wild boars... eeee
and we did night duty, sat on the floor watching the sea
to take care of the boats. lol and i heard wile boars sounds. so scared that they will come charging at me la. lol

-3rd day- (most memorable day)
we rowed boat again! this time frm 8am-5pm!
and the instructors asked for 4 sea captains and they asked me
actually im fine with it la, just that i was scared that im not up to the standard
but overall i tink i did ok? not much things to do oso, just help them to look out for obstacles and blah blah blah...
lol we were supposed to row to camp1, using the long route
which is around the whole island, abt 18km
but in the end, we headed back and used the shorter route cos we are lacking of time
hmm and i almost tot i will die la
cos the time before lunch right, the waves were like super big and we had to row against the waves
and the waves keep washing us towards the shore, almost hitting the rocks
then a strong wind came and my cap flew off. ok thats not the point
then after that, our boat almost capsized and we couldnt move forward despite paddling really hard... omg then i was super afraid that the boat will capsize
so i tink i was behaving like mad at that time
cos i kept shouting "paddle paddle! paddle hard! jiayou!" lol and i kept blowing my whistle for no reason, hoping that the instructor's motor boat will come and rescue me
lol ok sry ppl, for shouting so loud at that time
cos i was really afraid that the boat will capsize.
so sry arh, ppl! =)
and we ate our lunch in the middle of the sea, when all the 8 boats were finally pulled together
my first feeling was "wow we were saved! i wont die anymore!" HAHA !
and after lunch, i tried paddling and omg, i didnt have the energy to row la
as in i cant even raise the paddle. -.-" so sry ppl, for only helping to paddle for such a short time. cos i really could raise the paddle up. no energy. lol.
it was fun! vivien, stelle and me were like so high along the way
overall it was EXCITING! although we suffered frm muscle aches all over
ok i noe i shouldnt be complaining cos i didnt have as much muscle ache as the rest
since im only steering the wheel and shouting the rhythm

-4th day- (quite memorable oso)
we went to hike in the forest
lol and we tricked the other watches at the checkpoints
when we found the checkpoint, we act as if we couldnt find it
so we were like "eh ppl, open ur eyes! look around u, find the checkpoint"
haha so fun... and i stepped into a puddle of mud along the way -.-"
and we had team challenges along the way
oh ya, thanks again ppl for encouraging me at the MPH (multi-purpose hall)
when we were doing the ball juggling team challenge
cos i just couldnt catch the ball, no matter what.
and i really felt guilty, cos i felt as if i was wasting everyone's time
but vivien and jiankai practised wif me
they threw the balls to me and asked me to try catching
and the rest oso gave me support
and in the end i did it! wow so happy that i jumped in the air xD
in the forest, we failed to complete one of the challenges when we had to blindfold ourselves and tried to find one of the trees... it was very hard...
hmm and the other challenge was that we had to move everyone frm one place to another
like the frog game, quite fun but hard to tink of solutions
we tried a lot of times but failed. and the instructor asked if we wanted to give up many times
and we asked her to give up the last last last chance.
lol and we succeeded! wow so proud of ourselves
at night we had to climb the tunnel
it was pitch dark and i felt like dying before that
all the girls were like so scared la, then the boys were like heck care
lol but it was not scary actually la. we waited for one another and held each other's hands
haha =) but it was so lame la, the entrance and the exit is just beside each other... -.-"

-5th day-
we woke up and managed the store
then after that we played the prune game while waiting for yien (our instructor).
where we sat in a circle, playing zhong ji mi ma
the one who got the number will have to eat prune
we will increase the number of prunes each time
they said eating prunes will make u shit. lol
and chong jin was so poor thing, he got to eat quite a few?
lol we cheered and clapped when he had to eat the prunes
cos that day he ate the prunes and wanted to shit. haha
oh and the girls had to wash the toilet.
eew it was terrible, horrible and vegetable
lol ok im lame.
but thanks to the boys, for helping us to refill the jerry cans with water everytime
despite the rain, lol they had to go to the taps there in the rain
and they just left the cans outside the toilet door after knocking the door cos they cant go in
lol and they called it the "mcdonalds delivery"
ok whatever. =)
although it was super disgusting but i felt so happy after washing
cos before that, the toilet was super super smelly
u can even smell the "fragrance" far away
but after washing, the toilet smelt NICE!

IN CONCLUSION

and the most important thing that we learnt was : NEVER EVER GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW HARD OR DIFFICULT THE SITUATION IS. for us, we experienced a lot of obstacles during these 5 days and we really felt like giving up sometimes but we didnt
and in the end, we did it. and for the row-boat, we even came frm the last to the first!
AMUNDSEN ROCKS! lol

so i called the hotline. then the person said it will arrive in abt 5.20pm? which is around 40mins later.
then i tot "aiya wont be so fast de la. kfc always take so long to come"
so i slacked around, thats why im posting now. haha
mum and bro went out to buy things
then suddenly, at 5.10pm, the person came with the pizza!
wow so fast right? haha.

oops and im hungry now. shall wait for mum and bro to come back
